Hands down the best roast in wales. Creamy mash potato that will leave you craving more. I didn’t really want to leave a review because it’s hard enough getting a table as it is. It’s the jewel of the Nile if you can find it. Good friendly staff, relaxed farm house pub feel inside. Highly recommend but special occasions only and booking highly advisable or there will be rugby tackles and musical chairs. Make a visit if you can- you won’t be disappointed and you’ll make the place home at every visit. Don’t go when pregnant- my pregnant sister craved their steak and cauliflower cheese and gained around four stone. She’s now been barred!!!!
After being away for a while, we finally had Sunday lunch at the Vale of Aeron yesterday and it was amazing. We both ordered the beef dinner and custard slice with poached rhubarb, and it was flawless. The mashed potatoes were the best we've ever had, the carrots were delicious, and the cauliflower cheese was perfect. We've had several Sunday lunches out recently and while we have enjoyed them all, this one was the best. We are excited to try the new restaurant in Aberaeron.
The restaurant serves delicious food that is worth every penny. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming to locals and visitors alike. The food is consistently excellent and Gordon Ramsey would be impressed. It's a hidden gem that is always busy, so be sure to plan ahead. Families are welcome, with a garden play area for kids. Basket meals start at £4 at the bar, making it a great value option. Overall, it's a five-star dining experience that you will love.
I cannot say enough positives about this pub resteraunt. But here goes. The menu is interesting and the food incredible. All the staff are lovely and attentive, a great Welsh gem awaits. Be prepared for a large meal however because the portions are not stingy yet amazingly prepared and cooked. We are a family of 9 with 2 children and an infant all catered for superbly. A big thank you from all of us.

My family frequents this restaurant often, as we are locals. The food and basket meals are fantastic, reasonably priced, and the service is great. The staff was very helpful in assisting my disabled grandmother. We always have a good time at the charity quiz. The Sunday lunch is absolutely delicious.
Another visit to vale of Aeron this time for sunday lunch. The sunday lunch was delicious. Plenty of meat, potatoes and vegetables and very tasty gravy. Excellent service and good value for money. Highly recommended.

Popped in after looking up on TripAdvisor and found all to be very good nice little pub very friendly staff sausages and mash with onion gravy for me veggie burger for my wife followed by eton mess to share

Certainly recommend. Warm welcome from the bar staff and owner and restaurant person. Food was plentiful and tasty. Very clean.
Good, hot meals. Friendly and helpful staff; community spirit is obvious. Will be happy to go again.
