Valente S Italian Deli

Work right in wall for the past 11 years and never went into this place. The other day the kids wanted Italian subs for dinner. I jumped on and searched best subs near 07719 and this came up. I looked into the reviews it was above our cutoff of 4.5 stars and above. So glad we went...great little Italian market with all sorts of things for pick up. Great quality deli with a small butcher in the back. Sub was incredible.....meat sliced nice and thin. Sandwich and service were great. Met Lenny at the counter who was very nice! Keep up the great work.

Off the beaten path a little but glad I came. This is your standard deli with all the fixings. The chicken salad with cranberry was delicious. Hard to make chicken salad well and they did it. The chicken cutlet sandwich I ordered was the star of the show. Loved it. The meatballs however were bland. The italian sub was good and they freshly slice the cold cuts to order. The customer service was ok as well but felt like they got a little annoyed that I kept ordering stuff. Nevertheless, I will be back for the food!

I can not say enough great things about the food, and especially the staff. Lenny is a kind, and generous person who truly values his customers. All of his employees are well trained to serve you when you walk in. The real Italian food experience is at Valentes !

It's easily one of the best spots in the Monmouth area. The sandwiches are colossal, and everything is fresh, made in-house, including the bread. Lenny, the owner, is a is a fantastic guy, and the employees are just as great!

Love it.....great sandwiches with plenty of different types of fresh made salads! Lenny and staff are great!
