go hungry, I mean so hungry that you literally crawl through their door on the knees. the food proportions are not only huge. I had the cured meat starter, spaghetti and meatballs (to die in a spicy tomato sauce) and a door stop wedge of strawberry cake. the meat was fresh and tasty, the pasta was boiled exactly correctly, the meatballs fell apart on the fork and the cheesecake was pure pleasure. I did not get the garlic, sodburnen kater, with which also some Italian restaurants can leave them. go hungry, book well ahead they are very busy, and enjoy the fantastic authentic eating and excellent service that host are Italian and incredibly friendly.

everyone has the restaurant. for some ‘the’ restaurant can be a guilty pleasure, wrapped in remembrance or just because they love it and can not put their finger on it. for me the valle D’Oro in newbury is the restaurant that I always call when I need something. Sometimes it is a hole with so much cheese to fill I can hardly go, other paints it is just because I love it. Why do I love it? I can't be specific, because all the aspects of living together interact to ultimately offer an evening they can't leave without feeling.

have eaten here a few times and it has never failed. beautiful family business restaurant. the employees are welcoming and welcoming. the menu is definitiw for meat and fish lovers the! but also some vegetarian options. Eating is excellent, and the portion sizes are more than enough. you really won't be hungry out there! big wine selection too. a very round, great culinary experience. always comes.

Have been going to this little gem of a place for many years…. Amazing food and service second to none. I cannot praise this wonderful restaurant enough. Tonight I had the Veal with Asparagus and Tia Maria and Peppercorn Sauce It was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely family run restaurant which makes you feel special every time.

You HAVE to go to this place!! Wonderful authentic cuisine. Home cooked old fashioned Italian. Wonderful atmosphere and made to feel very welcome for a special family birthday lunch. They pulled out all the stops! Thank you!
