the service is always wonderful. They are very friendly, warm, welcoming, and eager to assist. I love the appetizers. This time we had pretzel bites, and green beans. Usually we get the shrimp appetizer which is great (but a little spicy for some people). I had a delicious fresh salad, my sister-in-law loves the sliders, husband liked the chicken sandwich. You can't go wrong at Valley. Their Carrot cake is the best I ever tasted, but I am also partial to the cookie sundae. It's a great bustling neighborhood gem.
Hostess was most accommodating. Reserved for 4, but made 5 at last minute. Disappointed in the white fish entree, not to your normal standard.
I always love the ease with which I can get together with friends over food that is easy to like and service that is prompt and relaxed.
Dead at 1pm lunchtimePerhaps it is because this menu is dull or because it provides no value.
Pork is at an all time low price wise.

my man and I love the valley lodge in wilmette. the ambiente is amazing and we love the kamin. everything is great!
