We went to Vanessa’s Bistro, which serves Vietnamese Tapas with a French Twist, up on Solano Avenue in Berkeley. The chef, Vanessa Dang, cooked at Le Cheval in Oakland and Bridges in Danville before opening the neighborhood bistro with her daughter Vi Ngu
I have eaten at Vanessa's Bistro multiple times. Tapas at the bar and dinner, too. Good drinks, good service and excellent food. I've tried several menu items, too many to name. Consistently worth repeating as I explored the menu. All reasonably priced.
We love Vanessa's Bistro. The food is perfectly well done colorful. The bartender he is just outstanding at his job makes killer drinks!!! Mojoto/lychee Martini absolutely to die for. 100 on the restaurant!Food: 5/5
Great date place. Lemongrass tofu is great, even if you are not excited by lemongrass or tofu. And good filet in the shaking beef. Add sticky rice, salads, cocktails, and it's a great meal. Réservez une table maintenant
The food was incredible! The place is nicely decorated. The space is a bit tight and somewhat loud, but we really liked it! You may want to get a few smaller plates and share them.Food: 5/5
-1 star for the rude bartender last night. We've decided to never come here again. Condescending and very mean bartender guy. There is no excuse for being mean in the hospitality industry.
the food is delicious.. high quality and service is great. the eggplant, shaking beef tacos were superb. can apos;t wait to order from them again..
The garlic green beans. with filet mignon and Claypool made for a satisfying winter evening dinner. Great portions and excellent flavor. Réservez une table maintenant
this was like fruit soup! just awful. all liquid with a little fruit and a few chunks of crisp
