Entered the store stood at the counter got blatantly ignored. Then after a wait was told won't be a minute. Partner toddler off to the loo leaves me to he served. Comes back ages later I'm still stood waiting. Lady was taking her time very slowly to make a drink while another member of staff was stood at a vacant table reading and playing with a menu. Another customer walked in got put before me as his child was all over and and loud so I chose to walk out and attend the store 2 doors away where I met a lovely woman and was given the service I required. I simply wanted a coffee. I am customer service also the service I was given you should loose those staff or close those doors and re train...
The biggest no no that really put me off was that the staff (mostly youngish women) did not seem to adhere to proper hygiene routine before preparing food. It really put me off and had I seen that before ordering I would have wandered off. I watched more than one server eating a sandwich behind the serving counter where food is prepared. That is off putting. And it happened more than once with other staff also eating . So, instead of ordering ice creams, we decided to leave. It is a shame as we have been a number of times in previous years and happily eating men ice creams as a family tradition. I think that tradition ends this year.
I visited this restaurant on the afternoon of September 13th, 2023, where two male servers were working. Our order was delivered promptly and tasted delicious. However, I felt uneasy when a young woman arrived with a small dog, accompanied by a couple of other people who seemed to be acquainted with the older of the two servers. He held the dog in his arms, petting and fussing over it. After they left, I noticed him serving the next customer a cone of ice cream without washing his hands first. He also did not wear gloves, which I found to be unsanitary. This practice is unacceptable and left me feeling disgusted.
Visited today 29th April. We always look forward to coming to bridlington and visiting here for a coffee and ice cream. Well sadley today the service was terrible to the point we left with out ordering. We was told by a member of staff she would be with us in a moment. After 10 mins of been stood there and ignored we decided to leave with out ordering. The toilet was absolutely disgusting and needs a good clean. Next time i visit bridlington i will be giving you a miss after todays terrible service and uncleanness. Réservez une table maintenant
Vanilla came recommended by a friend so we decided to give it a go. The parlour is beautifully decorated, a lovely ambience, with a huge selection of deserts to choose from. The staff were lovely. An 80s mix-tape played in the background (perfect for the wife and I) and the view from the parlour out into the ocean is spectacular. Very high quality ice cream and great customer service. We had a great time, thank you.
The ice cream was great, I loved my biscoff Milkshake and the kids loved their waffles and Ice cream. Only slight bug bare was the music was on loud. I sound like a grandad but on the upper deck sat under a speaker you had to shout to talk. We moved seats but just a little annoying. Ice cream though, which is the important bit was great though
The restaurant is designed as a classic American ice cream parlor, but with a modern twist. It is very clean, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food is exceptional – the cakes, milkshakes, everything is just perfect. I highly recommend this place.
The service at this restaurant is fantastic! The cleanliness is impressive and the sundaes are amazing! The employees were always cleaning and wiping down surfaces. I highly recommend this place, it's definitely worth a visit. The staff is very polite. Réservez une table maintenant
