Despite recommendations to not book Ventuno, I did book it for a girls night out, as it seemed to cater for all our dietary requirements. In highsight, I should have listened. It wasn't bad, it just could have been much better.We loved the anitpasto shared platter for entree, although more bread would have been nice.When it came to mains, mine was OK. The most tasty thing in the Potato gnocchi with pumpkin, pork sausage and smoked mozzarella, was the sausage. But my friends who had the Tubed pasta with calamari ragu, peas, garlic and mild chilli were very disappointed. We booked about 3 weeks in advance as we knew we would be staying at nearby hotel, Pier One Sydney Harbour, and could only get an early reservation at 5.45pm on obviously a very busy Friday night.By 6.15pm this restaurant was full, and mainly with tables of Italians, all elegantly casually attired and obviously enjoying the quality food and wine on offer.This is a lovely space, nice lighting, dark woods and a large steel wheel left over from the historic wharf era makes a nice feature. Whilst strolling around the wharf area in Walsh Bay we decided to find a nice place to have lunch, luckily we found this hidden gem. As soon as we walked in we knew that we'd made the right choice.The view is amazing, the service was fabulous and the food was absolutely delicious.I can honestly say it's the best seafood spaghetti that I've ever eaten.Every one enjoyed their meal, they were all delicious and beautifully presented.The staff were friendly and attentive, they helped us choose our meals and a wine to compliment the dishes that we chose. What a fabulous place to enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch.....perfect in every way!Next time we're in Sydney we'll be going back to enjoy the fanta...

This restaurant was referred to us by one of the staff at Pier One. When we arrived, the placed was packed. Luca told us to come back in 20 minutes and when we arrived, he gave us a table at the corner with a great view of the city. He suggested to order the calamari- amazingly good! We had risotto- that was the best risotto I've ever tasted! Pizza was great too. Luca was so friendly and helpful. He made sure our dining experience was unbelievable. He kept checking how we were doing. 5 star for this restaurant and also for Luca for such an amazing staff!
Ventuno is a fabulous Italian Restaurant in the beautiful historic Walsh Bay Area of Sydney. The food is always great and authentic, the staff attentive without being intrusive and the view is gorgeous. This place has a wonderful relaxed ambiance and is as suitable for a big family group as it is for a couple. It is our place of choice if we are going to a Sydney Theatre production. Their pre theatre dinner is excellent. Try it there is much to love.
J'ai participé à ce restaurant avec mon mari et mes parents et j'ai apprécié le menu des festivals de Sydney Festival après un spectacle dimanche soir. Nous avons chacun reçu un spray d'apérieur et le choix d'antipasti lorsqu'une pizza a été partagée entre deux. C'était la quantité parfaite de nourriture et de pizza et antipasti sur le menu étaient fantastiques. Nous avons été tous impressionnés par le service immédiat. Une bonne soirée sur l'eau.
Le service est remarquable ici, de sorte que la direction doit avoir une bonne attitude et dont elle est filtrée. La nourriture était au-dessus de la moyenne et l'endroit est tueur. Je viendrai ici encore et encore. Ok, c'est un peu froissé, mais c'est la baie de Walsh et la locale vaut à mon avis. Venez un samedi ou un dimanche après-midi avec des amis ici et vous ne l'oublierez jamais.

Avait une fonction de Noël ici. Merveilleux zone de détente, mais également déposée et retirée du Husslein et des bus de la CDB. Le service était sympathique et détendu. Certaines des pizzas étaient vraiment bonnes, même si l'ail était un peu sec. Je veux juste l'essayer pour un réglage normal.
