Before I ordered I mentioned that I don't eat pork, so I asked if the cacio e pepe can be done without it, the waiter kindly asked the kitchen and he confirmed, however he proceeded to bring the shared appetizer (nachos) which contained pork. I asked if it did then he said yes, then I decided to pick another appetizer (cheese pogos) and it was not cheesy, the consistency is similar to hummus. The food and service overall was average, maybe it was just a bad night! We were at the banquette, which is 2 sided and not fixed to the floor, whenever someone would move, the whole banquette would move/feel it.
Increasingly contemptuous experience since the last three times I went to Vertigo. Last Saturday, our group of nine had to wait an hour of standing time in the middle of the restaurant before our table was ready. Once seated, the waitress took orders for only half of the table, several things were never received (and still billed), not to mention that no one ever came to see us to ask if everything was in order. our taste and even less to offer us drinks. It's a shame, because with better management of the restaurant, its potential would be immense.
We had a place in the Bar section on a high table for dinner while the children were at the cinema. Lots of atmosphere, TV on the walls with sports matches. Music in the carpet. Lots of people talking loudly and having fun. Zero a place for a romantic outing. The nachos were generously topped with a chili sauce which was pretty average in my opinion. You don't go there to have a good dinner, you go there to snack, have a drink and have fun with friends. Parking: Free in the basement of the Solar district
My first experience wasn’t the greatest. The food was bland and not very exciting. Fast forward to a year later with the hopes that the food would be improved. Nope, still bland and tasteless. The service and atmosphere were top notch but sadly, the food for me was a flop. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone for the food, which is too bad because the establishment and staff are amazing ! Food: 2 Réservez une table maintenant
Very slow service despite several empty tables. My octopus dish (starter) was much smaller than the price suggested (see photo). I even asked the waiter if anything was missing from the plate. Tasteless pasta dish. Poke bowl with ricebasmati. In short, the decor and the atmosphere somewhat saved the evening. The food and service, not recommended. I won't go back there. Service: Dine in
Great night ! We were served by Gabrielle B. (according to the invoice and she was great!! We were a group for a party on Saturday May 4th and she completely managed despite our large group!! The restaurant is very beautiful and clean. We really liked the California salmon tartare, the fried squid and the carrot cake. Our waitress was nice, but she had way too many tables on her own, which made the service quite slow. Price per person: CA$50–60 Recommended dishes: Calmars Frits, Gâteau Carotte
Beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. Had the South west beef tartare which was delicious, and the very refreshing and out of the ordinary peach sangria. Will definitely be going back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$60–70 Réservez une table maintenant
