I need to talk about what happened last night, so I 'm writing this review. We had something to celebrate yesterday, so my mother-in-law, husband, and I went to the restaurant. First, we sat down, and as soon as the server came, we overheard them talking in Spanish about Chinese customers coming in. I found it strange in this situation whether the customers were Chinese or Korean; I didn 't appreciate servers discussing us behind our backs like that; I don 't think anyone would feel good in this situation. If they were genuinely curious, couldn 't they have just asked us? Second, my husband mentioned that we were Korean, and the server seemed perplexed and explained why they thought that way. However, the reason was even more surprising; they said it was because of our eyes, describing how they looked like this or that, which led them to think we were Chinese. I, from the perspective of someone hearing this, felt that it was clearly a racially discriminatory comment. I didn 't address it at the moment, but as an Asian, anyone would wonder, Is this person making racially discriminatory comments right now? Lastly, I request that the restaurant conducts basic education for its staff to avoid racially discriminatory comments. I ordered a dinner plate worth $65 yesterday, and the google maps says it is a fine restaurant. For a restaurant offering such levels, I didn 't find their attitude yesterday. What do you think?
