Peruvian/Spannish fusion. A small restaurant with capacity for maybe 20 covers, they are understandably 'reservation only ', which we didn 't know so turned up on spec and they very kindly accommodated us. The 2 waiting staff were relaxed but efficient, kindly and knowledgable. It must be said: this was one of the best 1 Michelin star restaurants we 've eaten in. The detail and variety in the menu was highly impressive and the multitude of dishes very well choreographed.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Restaurante Víctor Gutierrez when visiting Salamanca on our tenth wedding anniversary. We visited on a Friday night and had the Menu Mestizo, cocktails, and an excellent bottle of red wine from the Sierra de Gredos recommended by our server. The service was knowledgeable, attentive, and discreet and the food really interesting and consistently delicious. We had a fabulous time!
Maybe the best Michelin star place we've ever been. The story behind the menu was tempting and brilliantly told by the courses. The flavors were creative and well tuned, and the presentation 10/10. The Peruvian influence was clear as the most important Spanish topics. Will definitely return, something I would rarely say for such places.
Beautiful Fusion Peruvian-Spanish, inspired by Central in Lima. Victor uses great ingredients such as rocoto, ají, truffle and Lucuma (fruit) to create amazing dishes. The price is very reasonable given the excellent quality of food. Service was very friendly and correct. Very recommended! Réservez une table maintenant
I am a gourmet fanatic. Lucky to have eaten in most of the superior restaurants in the world. This is up there with the best I have ever had. The attention to detail wine combinatoons is superb. This is somewhere that needs to be visited. We'll done everyone
