To start off, the restaurant is not clean. The utensils still had food stains on them and the kitchen appeared dirty and unsanitary. I ordered grilled pork chops while my partner ordered pho. The pork chops were slimy and had a sour taste, indicating they were spoiled. The pho was greasy and the noodles were undercooked, with powdered beef stock instead of homemade broth. I complained to the owner, but decided to leave without requesting a replacement meal due to concerns about the hygiene of the food preparation. We paid $30 for a meal we couldn't even eat, as we lost our appetite. We didn't want to risk getting food poisoning. This restaurant should be inspected by health authorities.

Love Vietnamese food and have it a lot in Melbourne. Was excited to discover this little eatery when we needed takeaway one night after the kids had crashed. Greeted with a grunt from the guy serving, annoyed because I interrupted his phone call. Made my order which was reluctantly processed by the guy serving. Took what seemed a long time to make (two pho, two serves spring rolls), maybe I've been spoilt with the quick service and high quality of food from Springvale, Melbourne? Received dinner with another grunt and straight back to his phone. Pho was of average flavour with chewy bits of beef and mainly noodles. Should have just had McDonalds.

The bloke serving here obviously relies on tourists frequenting his business as his customer service was atrocious....... We ordered and were told it would be 10 minutes..... After 20 minutes of watching him sitting at his computer which sits in the dining area we asked how long our meal would be.... He had obviously forgotten our order..... Once cooked he then basically threw it at us and walked away.......and the quality of the food was something I could cook .... and I can't cook...... Do not go to this place....... Terrible.......

This restaurant is in Elkhorn St, towards the beach from the tram line. it has indoor and outdoor seating for around thirty people. There was also a steady stream of take-away meals. It was busy for dinner last night (Sunday) - I had dim sims for entrée and the Seafood curry Laksa...both dishes were really tasty and I left fulfilled.I noticed that most diners were foreign tourists, perhaps enjoying there favourite dishes from home. There are specials meal deals available as well as fish and chips.Recommended Réservez une table maintenant

Overall, this restaurant had a disappointing dining experience. The rice was dry and lacked flavor, and the Salt and Pepper Calamari seemed to be missing both salt and pepper. It's best to skip this place as there are many other dining options in the area where you are sure to find better quality food. It shouldn't be hard to find a better meal elsewhere.

Ordered the laksa and the duck. Both were delicious and cooked superbly. The price was also right but the owner spent all his time on his computer and only moved to collect the bill and to serve the food. Not a smile which was a shame as that is not the Asian way. Need a happy waitress to make this place a better place.

I liked the freshness of the food here. I had beef lemongrass with vermicelli noodles and fresh salad, with an avocado smoothie. Really tasty meal and the smoothie balanced the chilli out nicely. Average rating is because of the service, which was patchy at best. Good for a quick, tasty meal.
