Village Pantry - Réservation de table

We recently visited the Village Pantry on a Friday for a coffee and snack. The café is quite popular, and we decided to get a platter for two. Unfortunately, a larger group of locals ended up sitting at a table next to us, crowding us into a corner. We waited for about 15 minutes for our coffee to arrive, only to find that our scones were missing. When the waitress attempted to serve the neighboring table, she accidentally spilled both our drinks. After inquiring about our food, we received apologies and it finally arrived 10 minutes later, after we had already finished our drinks. The coffee was good and the food was decent, but the long wait time was unacceptable.

Yes the scones seem to be popular here and my cheese and spinach savoury ones (with butter and tomato chutney) were delicious and the coffee was pretty good, too. Although crowded and noisy inside in the late morning, it still had a homely feel. You...can sit outside if you prefer. I noticed also that you could provision yourself for a picnic if that was your intention.

I regularly meet friends here for coffee or breakfast. It's also my go-to for a takeaway coffee. The coffee is always good, the breakfast options are all yum and they have good basic lunch options too. It can get quite noisy but that's because it's...popular, and its popular because it's great. Kid friendly and the raspberry scones are divine!

I find it unacceptable that a cafe cannot cook fresh scones every morning ! I've been here many times and on occasion I've found that the scones have been very cold or still frozen on the inside even when they've been reheated ! I won't...be ordering them again !!!!!!!!!!!! The coffee is very good . Réservez une table maintenant

Had a lovely afternoon coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cake here. Staff quite friendly, service quick and cakes were delicious. Recommend hummingbird cake, flourless orange cake and scones jam and cream. Busy place , clean restroom.

I have to let everyone know about the delicious chai latte's served at The Pantry. I really enjoy a good quality chai (no powder for me! and you can find the most delicious brewed chai, served by lovely staff at the Village Pantry.

Nevertheless it was a delicious bacon ,spinach frittata , others had similar experiences oNe in salmon , one in chicken and asparagus. Coffee was good, service good, just had terrible acoustics and too many tables for the space.

I ordered the corn fritters with bacon and they were delicious! The latte was also great. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend this cozy café in the city. Réservez une table maintenant

our breakfast was amazing: cool atmosphere, amazing dining, generous portions, good coffee and fantastic prices. we're coming back.

The Pantry in Mount Eliza serves the best coffee and their muffins are to die for. The staff is delightful!
