It seems that when I ask for "a little oil and vinegar," it doesn’t have much impact. Perhaps that's their interpretation of "a little," but to me, the bread shouldn't be so soaked that it becomes soggy and mushy, or even pink from the vinegar. The pictures don’t quite capture just how wet the bread was. The only reason I tried to make do with the sandwich today was out of hunger and the fact that I had already paid for it. I ended up removing most of the filling from the roll, leaving me with barely any bread at all. It was simply not a tasty sandwich, and I found it quite disappointing.

The other day got, Village Pizzeria, for lunch. Got their Plain Slice, and a Buffalo Slice. Have been going here for a while, and it’s still the same every time. Their pizza is not that good at all. Have yet to try their Dinners, but strictly based off of their pizza, this place is not good at all. I typically just get Pizza from here, but in no way, shape, or form, should their pizza be this bad. Only reason they are ranked so highly is because their Marinara Sauce is phenomenal. It greatly impacts my total score. All in all, could not recommend their pizza, but for the quality of their Marinara Sauce on can tell their Dinners may be good. Just stay away from their pizza.
The pizza was very good but the wings broke my heart. I hate oversized wings, that’s first off but I asked for them well done to just be sure they were soft enough. I’m not saying they didn’t do their version of well done I’m just saying the wings are big, fatty and nasty. Breaded. Huge wings. They reminded me of young turkey wings. I couldn’t even eat them. I paid so much on UberEats and it wasn’t a good enough reason for a refund... Thats their version of Buffalo wings. I’m gonna put them in the oven for 45 mins to an hour. Maybe they’ll be better. This restaurant used to be excellent, boasting attentive staff and reliable service. I’ve been dining here for over ten years and had always trusted the owner. However, I typically avoid leaving negative reviews unless they can contribute to improvement. Unfortunately, in the past six to eight months, the quality of the food has declined. Now, I find myself ordering from Brooklyn Pizza in Irvington instead. They offer fast, free delivery at great prices, and I recommend checking out their Google reviews—I’ve been very satisfied with them.

I can't believe this! My family has been coming to this pizza and sandwich place for over 25 years. Wanting to try something new, I called to ask about a few menu items. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude, saying, "Look, I’m busy and stressed." When I asked if he was too busy to explain the menu, he replied, "Yes, do you want to order or not?" Naturally, I said no. Everyone has tough days, but no one should ever treat customers like that, and we won't be returning.

I have only ordered their chicken parm slice and its by far the best pizza I have had in a very long time. I expected the chicken to be a little dry and hard but it was the opposite. Tender, juicy and fresh. I have had a lot of pizza from various places but this slice right here .
This was my first time going to Village Pizza, the Pizza was good and the crust was just the way I requested, well done.
