Over the years have frequented the Pub many times and have always enjoyed the professional friendly staff of bartenders/servers. However our last visit was different. Bartender Uwe Schroeder (sp? was rude from the minute we sat down, He was argumentative with several of us sitting at the bar. He acted annoyed when we asked about happy hour pricing, the menu and annoyed that we wanted separate checks which we clarified in advance. Then he started lecturing customers about political issues/ candidates. It was unwelcomed Uwe was rude, argumentative, and disrespectful. I hope someone explains the basics of customer service and the definition of hospitality to this guy Highly doubt our group will...
Went to the pub on the drive after a great morning at the beach. I saw that it just so happened to be $6 burger day. The burger was amazing juice perfectly cooked. It is very hard to find a place that cooks to the temperature requested, but this place is spot on. I ordered the cheddar burger with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed it so much that it went great with my long island tea that my bartender Juan and his Co bartender Jamey the banter between the two had me in laughter, downside of the service was Juan and Jamey are only available daytime and only Monday to Friday. I strongly suggest coming for breakfast or lunch you are sure to have a great time.
I like sitting outside and watch people walk by at the Pub. Recently they did away with their free drink chip , that you used to get when buying a drink during happy hour...you used to buy a drink, get a chip and use it anytime for the second drink. You have until May 26 to redeem your chips...after that they will be obsolete. Now during happy hour, you just pay 1/2 off for the drink....so a margarita would be in the $4-5 range, beers would be in the $3-5 range and so forth. I like their daily food specials. The staff is generally very friendly, helpful and efficient. A great place to unwind while in Wilton Manors.
I've been coming here on and off for years and it had been a while and I was HUNGRY! I asked the bartender to make a recommendation and I was informed that it was $6 burger night with fries! I ordered it medium, with all the toppings and it was fantastic! I'll be stopping in more often again!
