We just moved to the area and thought we would try this place. We ordered to share the Penne alla vodka (it was $20.75, so we thought we had enough for both of us) and an order of spaghetti with Marinara for our children (no meatballs). When we came home and opened the bag, we were shocked how small the portions were for the price, especially the children spaghetti. They calculated me $8 for the amount specified below, not even enough to feed a child. I called and complained and was told that I would get a refund, but not. Our duck was just enough food for my husband. You don't have a bread and you don't have a salad. Save your money and go to Philly Pike to Mazellas. Better food and no tear...
The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the employee who answers the phone and issues the takeout orders is so friendly and sweet their customer service skills are excellent and the original cheese cake was good. Other than the pasta I ordered (CAVATELLI WITH SAUSAGE BROCCOLI-RABE) was, contrary to the worst pasta I ever had in my life, absolutely no taste with a strange aftertaste.
We really wanted to like this place as we are new to the area, it is close to home and we eat out often. But, the food was less than mediocre, and the service was the same, at best. Not worth the money. Shame, because we really like to support local businesses. We may try the pizza, as we haven't found any in the area to our liking yet. But we don't have high expectations.
Food was good not exceptional). Service was good. We eat out often and have eaten here a number of times. Always enjoyed it. However, I hope it was worth losing a customer for the price of a basket of bread and to make matters worse charging for a small dish of olive oil for dipping. We won't be back.
