VIP Very Italian Pizza

First the positive: the pizza was excellent. Authentic Italian, quality and tasty. Where this restaurant fails is the fact that they cram diners too closely together, especially in their basement. Despite having booked in advance we were led to a table downstairs. This room is small, airless and dank and yesterday evening was hot. There isn't even elbow room between the tables. As each successive set of diners came down the stairs their faces revealed their dismay. At one point around a dozen teenagers were shown to a table for about six. Had the pasta with meatballs, meal very tasty,but, only 3 meatballs, for the price I paid I expected more meatballs I did complain and was told they would inform the chef. Won’t be going there again or recommending this place The seating is so close together I thought Donatello’s was bad enough but vip is worse

I live in Chelmsford Essex and drive 1.5 hrs to Brighton for VIP pizza and it's always worth it. The only pizza I've have that is as good was from Italy Lake Garda. The starters and dessert are amazing too, the staff are lovely and the restaurant has a great atmosphere I LOVE VIP PIZZA! Wish I lived closer

I come here all the time solo and also with friends! The food here is absolutely delicious. “Parma” is literally the best pizza I have ever ate in my life. The base was nice but the meatball popletta pizza had 4 meatballs on and nothing else. No cheese even. Surely it should have had more meatballs??? Hawaiian had a little more in topping but it was sparse. Nothing like the pictures. A real shame.

Lazy, disinterested staff. Many empty tables, “you will have to wait” (after having waited for seating and having asked twice). No idea what the food might have been like, but the 4 guys waiting after us left too. And the point is?? Réservez une table maintenant

Visited last night with a group of 10 of us for a birthday meal. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Authentic and delicious and loved by Italians too. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
