Vis aVis is a nicely decorated cafe with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere and a variety of different kinds of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. It s located at a central place of the little village of Bergstrasse, Seeheim. It is probably the best place...in Seeheim to take a good breakfast, have a coffee and a snack or a delicious piece of cake for example on a lazy sunny Saturday or Sunday. You can sit outside at the lovely terrace and enjoy the view and if you are with kids there, they have an open nice space to play around. Ich bin seit Beginn Stammkundin des Vis-à-Vis, auch weil ich die Backwaren des Besitzers Schwind liebe. Das Frühstück ist entsprechend empfehlenswert. Hier ist auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis am besten.Mittags sowie (vor allem im Sommer) abends gibt es Tagesgerichte. Die Flammkuchen sind empfehlenswert, allerdings auch relativ teuer. Und einmal hatten wir 2 Haare im Essen. Der Service ist oft prompt, manchmal kommt er aber auch nicht hinterher. Das variiert stark mit der Belegung der Terrasse. Dort zu sitzen, ist aber auch eines der Highlights des Vis-à-Vis.Im Inneren ist es sehr schick und immer gepflegt ruhig. Die Akustik ist etwas kühl, dafür kann man sich immer gut unterhalten, weil...
Die Architektur sieht von der Straße aus eher nach Kiosk aus, dahinter aber verbirgt sich ein Bistro im klassischen Sinne: Von Frühstück bis zum kleinen Abendessen gibt es einiges. Vor allem gute Suppen, wenn auch eingeschränkt in der Auswahl, also v.a. "Tagesangebote". Im Sommer auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne und auf den (Kunst)See.Kuchen vom Bäcker Schwind ist sowieso immer schon zu empfehlen - hier bekommt man ihn mit gutem Kaffee oder Tee. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist üppig und gut. Bei zu schönem Wetter z.B. sonntags braucht man Geduld. Réservez une table maintenant
Ich war schon öfter mit Freundinnen im Vis a Vis brunchen. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Frühstücksplatten und eine große Auswahl an leckeren Kuchen und Torten. Im Sommer kann man besonders schön draußen sitzen und das Frühstück genießen. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Zum Frühstücken komme ich immer wieder gerne her!
