After Italmania on Union Street shut down a few years ago I struggled to find an Italian in Glasgow that done a really good carbonara. The carbonara here is delicious. I would recommend the rose wine on the wine list, it's odd but worth it, I would also reccomend the garlic bread with cheese, the bread is more like pan bread and not the usual garlic baggette you get elsewhere. The staff are great, the food is amazing. I used to go here every Friday for lunch (before I bought a house and became permanently skint) and would always get half pizza half pasta with a friend which was always amazing. It OK, nothing special, most place I have been to was always a buffet style with a much wider range of sides and deserts that you help yourself to but this place doesn't offer this service The chicken wings where over cooked and dry, they had some good dished but nothing amazing jumped out However for Glasgow I suppose this is good enough but for me as I lived in both Brazil and London it's not up to scratch As a tourist avoid but as a local worth a try.
Wow! Just Wow! The Staff, The Food, The place. Just Wow It had been recommended to us and we decided to try it, we arrived and the place was beautiful, the decor was so nice. We were sat at our table and the menu explained to us, we went for the smaller option and it was absolutley outstanding. One of the best meals I've ever had in my life and I loved the fact I could try some things I'd never consider trying before
What a great place. Bought a voucher for for off food. You help yourself to salad bar and servers come to your table with meat options. Servings are small but this is a good thing as you have about or more meats to sample. Lamb was definitely one of my favourites so asked for another helping before we finished. You need to try the Cinnamon Pineapple, great course to finish on.

Our time at viva Brazil was amazing the staff especially Ibrahim, Edwin and Vinni were very welcoming and provides excellent customer service. The food was spectacular and it was a perfect venue to celebrate the engagement of a friend. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody looking to have a celebration party or event.
Incredible experience. Starve before hand because you don’t want to miss out on any of this meat. Staff is very friendly and hardworking. The best food experience of my entire life
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again.
I'm never sure what to expect when going out for ItalianI have been disappointed in the past with paying a lotfor not a lot.
