Voila Gluten-Free Bakeree

My fiancé and I stumbled into Voila today while picking up some things in the area and what a wonderful experience we had. You can see John’s passion just through the way in which he tells you the story behind the business. It’s not about making existing pastries gluten free, but about making delicious baked goods that happen to cater to the gluten-free crowd. He treated us to one of the lemon cupcakes and WOW! It was sensational. Moist, light, and delicious. Can’t wait to get home and try the French baguette and loaf! Thank you.

I always stop by when I'm in town and stock up on their delicious bagels, cookies, muffins, and other goodies. At this point I've tried almost 70% of their items, and as a fellow baker, I can honestly vouch for the authenticity of their flavours. You can't even tell they're gluten free and most of them would rival any one of their gluten filled counterparts. Give them a try. Trust me they're the best in Ottawa!

Voila made a simple yet elegant wedding cake for us. It was delicious! Lemon curd......I had to fight one of my guests just to get a taste of it! I highly recommend this bakery to anyone, gluten free or not. Customer service over the phone and in person was also friendly and helpful!

The apple pie was phenomenal and a good value. They make the pies once a week so I called ahead to make sure they had one left. She put heating instructions on the box and it was a hit at our dinner party with a celiac friend. Réservez une table maintenant

We ordered strawberry shortcake for my mother -in-law’s birthday and it was the best cake I’ve ever had in my entire life (no exaggeration)! It was just so perfectly moist, light and fresh!

So happy we found this bakery! First time visiting and huge selection of GF goods esp for this Celiac household. Highly recommend!! Everything was delicious.
