I really loved this place. I'm not a lover of spicy heat where my friends are. Of the for all our spices and heat levels and not disappointed. The dishes were large, packed with high-quality proteins and vegetables. The sauces were tasteful with perfect consistency. My dish was filled with meat. The service was impeccable, our host was friendly, caring and knowing. The venue was clean, modern, light in the eye. The bathroom was also clean. We had a wonderful time thanks
The food was delicious! Beautiful aromas. Small intimate indoor dining area. The staff were friendly, but there were times when we felt that they might have been a bit more attentive (for example, when we were sitting, took a while to even be given menus. In the meantime, a table that came after us had already been served and had their drinks before anyone even came to ask for our drink order). Easy online booking. Street parking.
Order the chicken prawn tom yum soup as main and sticky rice w/ coconut for dessert. The sticky rice was a bit steep, but it is worth not trying. Although not as sour as I would like and lacked little taste depth, the Tom yum was pretty and very pleasant as it warmed up in the cold. The staff was very nice and friendly. I pay!
This restaurant/bar has a clean, modern aesthetic with plenty of natural light. The Thai cuisine is wonderfully aromatic, made with fresh ingredients and is satisfyingly filling. The staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. Make sure to pay a visit to S2 - you won't be disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant
If you're after a quick lunchtime winner with a good hit of chili (even though they'll tone it down for you if that's not your thing) you can't go past S2 on Flinders. Great food, lovely staff.

"Had dinner here twice with friends, would not come again. Food was ok, but real terrible service. Not a single smile from any of Waitresses, served us with bad attitude the whole night. Also the food took ages to come, FYI we were their first group of customers for that evening, so don't understand what was the hold up."
