To say that this was the WORST Waffle a house I have ever been to would be an understatement. The “staff” was rude, regrading and incompetent. I placed a very simple order of two scrambled eggs and toast and never received my order. Our other guests received half, wrong or no orders as well. The store was dirty, and in disarray. Other patrons who entered the premise after us were seat and waited on promptly. Also receiving their orders well before we did. Their orders of steak and pork chop were cooked, delivered and packaged up before we were served. Do not recommend this place if you are from out of town.
Stopped here this morning on the way back to Louisiana from Houston. I was just about finished my drink when I saw at least two dead bugs smushed to the inside of the cup. Told our server, and her only reaction was “Oh.” She brought me another drink in a to-go cup, never came back to our table, and then the check still included my drink on it lol soooo I kindly told the cashier (who was very nice) that I wasn’t interested in paying the check at all, she nodded, and we left.
The waiter was telling us his life story in Spanish and my boyfriend doesn't speak Spanish. We told him he doesn't speak Spanish and he proceeded with his story we were just ignoring him and he stopped. Thank God. I asked for eggs over medium and they were well done. The atmosphere was loud as can be and annoying as heck. Not going back.
Clean, fast, busy, but very nice. In a post pandemic world it has become rare to eat somewhere where people have smiles and an understanding of the service, this restorer is on their game. Well finished for the team and of course congratulate the managers who organize things, rationalize, staff and well trained God bless you all. Réservez une table maintenant
A 100% improvement from 4 years ago. The store was much cleaner and much better staffed so I actually stayed and ordered a Ham Cheese Omelette with a solo side of sausage and both were darn near perfect. It was so good, I'm actually thinking I'll be coming back. Wonders never cease!
I mean, it's a Waffle House people! I only eat here on road trips and before 7 am. Hot coffee, decent and simple breakfast brought to you extremely fast. It's not gourmet, but it gets the job done. Bonus, it's fun to hear the yell out the orders to the cooks. Never gets old to me!
