Waldfee - Réserver une table

We were delighted to find this restaurant close to our hotel. All the best Austrian dishes were on the menu. My husband had Wienerschnitzel (2 huge escalopes of veal) and I had Zwiebelrostbraten, steak with fried onions (2 thick pieces of steak.) Absolutely delicious! We both drank Austrian Goesser beer with our meal. We had wanted to have Kaiserschmarrn for dessert but just could not manage to eat anything else. Great service and very friendly. It's a popular restaurant and you may have to share a table. (They don't accept credit cards.)

If you should ever aim to enjoy the best Kaiserschmarren in Munich this restaurant is the place to go! Those in "Kaisergarten" or "Wassermann" might be decent but the one in "Waldfee" is paradise! It is really handmade - i.e. definitely no convenience food - but from fresh ingredients and done with passion and patience. Wishes for extra raisins or almonds are understood and served with a smile.

Waldfee offers a nice variety of traditional Austrian and German dishes. From the expected, yet tasty Wienerschnitzel to a delicious pheasant dish with cranberry sauce. And of course, great selection of beers. Great option in the Münchner Freiheit area.

Recommended by a local friend in Munich, we had dinner outdoors on a warm summer's evening. The salads and main courses were great. I liked the neighborhood vibe of the restaurant - the clientele were mostly locals.

It is a traditional Austrian restaurant. It has a lot of dishes from Austria. The environment is very pleasant. Serving very good. I recommend for a nice evening and tasty.
