This is a mountain restaurant with a stunning view over Kitzbuhel. A taxi drops you half way and you complete the journey on a Ski do, just magical. A warm welcome from Pinky the owner and a charming waiter, followed by schnapps overlooking the village before a superb menu of traditional and modern Austrian food. The duck is their speciality and was fabulous, as was the schnitzl and cordon bleu. Lively music and other guests completed the night we ended up staying until 1, it was that good. There's a fab sound system and private room so if you're ever looking for a private event, this is the place. Lunch there also great, keep an eye out to your right off blue 20.
Randomly came over an evaluation of this place and emailed the restaurant. It was such a beautiful experience. It is on one of the ski slopes, but in the evening you can book. We have a taxi to the winter parking lot where we were collected by Skidoo to take the last piece to the mountain. It was a real fun start, and the views from here are beautiful. We arrived at the restaurant where the staff was a beautiful, really relaxed atmosphere. The food is typical Austrian fare, but so good. Our group had the chicken, ducks and carvings, and the portions were very large. Everything in a really good night. Thanks to everyone.
Beautiful authentic Austrian chalet, great ambience, warm welcome to Pinkie the owner, Andy and the whole team, really good Austrian food, all dishes were top quality, very good portions and good value for money. The hike and snowmobile in the forest under a star night is our best family memory of Kitzbühel. We're coming back!
Here for lunch. Had a cheese soup that was E7.80. I would say elsewhere that it would not have been more than E5.0. For drinks. A beer was E5.50, locally elsewhere E3.80) and glass white wine E6.90, locally elsewhere E4.0). Location is quite pleasant, but certainly not worth the money
