Wanderhütte Sattelei

This is a magical restaurant to visit. The hike to the restaurant through the forest from the train station was breathtaking and the restaurant so beautiful. We timed our arrival for lunch and had amazing service, incredible views, and wonderful delicious food. The potato soup was so good and the fried ravioli was incredible. The best was the fresh cheese cake and almond desert! It is an unforgettable place to visit and enjoy a meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, the hutte is tastefully decorated with warm decor, service was friendly, and the food was hearty. We had the cabin snacks which had a mix of spreads and cold cuts. Followed by the ravioli and meat loaf. The hutte is surrounded by nature which adds to its charm.

Very nice experience at the top of the mountain with lots of hiking trails. Outside seating was wonderful. Service very good. High end but at reasonable prices. We had the smoked trout salad, was very good.

A little slice of heaven, perfectly located in the woods between Baiersbronn/Mitteltal/Tonbach, serving locally-sourced bites, beers shots.

Traditional and delicious fare with a setting to match! Great hospitality too. Really worth the trip.
