Warren 's Spirited Kitchen is a fun special treat, special occasion destination when visiting the historic town of Burton, Ohio, in maple syrup country. It 's worthy of a visit on a special outing, but not one I 'd go to over and over, because of the limited vegan options, but also because the options tend to be less healthy high in fat and salt. On our last visit, we enjoyed tasty, but not necessarily healthy deep fried corn on the cob (we got it without the cheese and miso butter, and it was still rich in fat). An appetizer of white bread with hot pepper infused oil was delicious, but again was oil based. Veggie paella was all vegan, but bland; we added the leftover hot pepper oil to make it more tasty. The menu indicates that The Impossible Burger is offered, which will make some vegan patrons happy; we prefer in house vegan burger recipes made from wholefood ingredients versus a packaged option that may not be wholefood based and does not distinguish itself from the same Impossible Burger served at another dozen or more establishments in the area. On a previous visit, over a year ago, the restaurant had an amazing bean cassoulet with shan tofu and onion cream all vegan. It is no longer on the seasonal menu, and nothing outstanding has taken its place.
