Every chance I get to go home (Camden I make it a habit to stop in Wasses for the best hot dog's. And they still tast the same as they did when I was a little girl. When my mom would take me to Louie's stand on the corner of main st and orient, I canstill see the colored lights on the hot dog cart. This trip was fun as I made sure to stop at the stand in Rockland and to stopat the stand in Belfast too. What a treat: So Good.
We stopped here for a quick bite and had a couple of dogs. Grilled fresh on site- not boiled- the dogs were great. All the fixings you could want are available. The line was rather long but that's what you get when you are that good. Kind of a fun andnostalgic place to visit in Rockland. Bring the whole family. They will thank you. Recommended.
I've been working in Rockland for six years and had never been to Wasse until now. I've heard great things about it and know it's popular, but I never went because I'm not a fan of hot dogs. I have to say, though, my experience was amazing! I tried the loaded fries and a cheese dog, and I can’t wait to go back!
This place is a piece of Maine!! This was the first place we ate when we return!! Anything and everything is good at Wasses! The staff is super nice, friendly and FANTASTIC manners!! Good hot dogs. Get it with everything! You might need two or 3 though. Chilli or cheese fries are good sides. It's only take out with no outside seating. Get there early, it gets busy.
Been going to Wasses as long as I can remember! <3 All time Fav! My daughter won't eat any other ; We lovit!
Literally the best hot dogs I have ever eaten!! You're missing out if you haven't tried Wasses!!
