YOOOOO everybody! I literally had the best deli sandwich I've had in a long time here! The man making the sandwiches is super rad and said he's been there for 30 years, who knew?! I woulda been coming here a long time ago if I knew how damn good these Sandwiches were. Delicious ingredients all around, Acme bread and all! For only $10!!!! Amazing and affordable? We CAN have it all? Sorry I didn't take a picture I was too busy being stoked on deliciousness. Maybe I'll remember next time, I will definitely be back for more. Lots more.
The owners here are very helpful. There is a deli with very hearty sandwiches and sushi. They will make you a delicious sandwich using delicious ingredients of your choosing. I tried both the sandwiches and the sushi and enjoyed both greatly. My sushi wasn't stale and tasted great. The cold drink section is fairly well stocked too. There are tables outside where you can eat. They also carry an assortment of groceries and house supplies. It's a very convenient market on the peninsula.
This restaurant is outstanding! The prices and selection were exactly what I was looking for. Vivien is amazing—she was incredibly helpful and attentive, truly going above and beyond for her customers. You can really tell she is a wonderful person. Randy was also extremely helpful. Thank you both for such a great experience!
I hate to do this to a small business, but I came here over Memorial Day weekend 2023 and got a candy bar that expired in October 2021. And I’ve seen other reviews mention the same problem. They have a good selection. They need to go through their inventory occasionally.

Deli is really fresh. Meat quality is good! Bread rolls are crunchy! It’s a local market so prices are slightly higher. If you shopping for other items check expiration dates. Only complaint is some cold products are expired or will be expired in a few days
For the most part I like the store! The sandwiches and fresh food are awesome unfortunately I am writing this review after seeing that the instant ramen I bought this week and paid 3 dollars per cup has been expired since May 2021.
I had no idea there was such an amazing market at Berkeley Marina until I rode my bike there. It's easy to overlook, but definitely worth a visit. The friendly staff made me want to return again soon.
$5 for a can of Rolling Rock. $3 for a snack pack of Oreos when their own price tag shows 99 cents. Not my type of convenience.
