Loved it as a kid!. So I've been going to Weber's ever since I can remember. I will tell you though, from what I recall, the food has gone downhill in recent years. Firstly, I remember their milkshakes being much thicker and genuine, and their buns are far, far, far too big now for the actual hamburger. However, I do still love this place. Their burger's are no longer the best, but they remain really tasty, their fries and hot dogs are still pretty delicious, and they don't water down their pop as much as some other fast food joints I've been to. Furthermore, this place is a classic. Where else can you choose between a grassy park and a train car to eat? Nevermind the staff there do an incre...

Despite the long line up, service was not so bad. The burgers were actually good, not at all what we expected from a roadside joint. The hotdogs were footlong and for the burgers, you can choose how many patties you want (1-3) and what you want included such as the usual pickles, tomatoes, onions. The meat was juicy, flavourful and nicely charcoal barbecued. We also got an order of fries and had ice cream for dessert.<br/ <br/ The main place is northbound but if you are going southbound, you can also get to the other side. They have a parking area and folks can cross the footbridge (which apparently used to be a portion of a pedestrian bridge from the CN tower) to get to Webers. No worries a...

On July 1st, my friends Mark and Kerwin joined me on a quest for a dining spot north of the city. We decided to check out Weber's famous charbroiled burgers on Highway 11! I have fond childhood memories of visiting my grandmother in North Bay, and our family would often make the drive up north. Along the highway, there are plenty of pit stops, but one place has always stood out to me, located just before you enter cottage country. It's marked by two old train cars and is unique in several ways. I've often wondered why there was always a long line of people every time we passed this stop. So, on this particular July 1st, I was eager to discover what was drawing thousands of visitors there.

Nostalgic atmosphere and burgers. I get the hype around Webers. For many ppl, the idea brings back memories of old times. The long drives up north, the ppl you would meet while you are waiting in line or eating. The smell of the burgers and fries fill the air the moment you get out of your car to stretch your legs. The atmosphere and the memories this place holds for most ppl alone make this a must stop even if you haven't had the favored past like a lot of ppl do have. But stop and have their famous burgers and fries while you are on your way up and start building your own memories stopping by. It may not be the best food out there, but it is an experience. Webers on Highway 11 near Orillia is one of the best stops I've found on road trips. What I really appreciate about them is their limited menu options. We ordered double patty cheeseburgers, poutine, and a chocolate milkshake. The burgers weren't outstanding but were cooked perfectly. You can find better poutine elsewhere, so I'd recommend sticking with fries instead. The chocolate milkshake was pretty good as well. There's usually a line to place an order, but their service is incredibly quick and efficient. I would definitely return to try their foot-long hot dog.

I am guessing that, for most visitors to Webers, it is about nostalgia, comfort, tradition for the grownups, and future memories for the little kids. It's about stopping on the way to the cottage, because that's what your parents did on the way to the cottage. It's about the lineups and the friendly staff. It's about the picnic tables and the railroad cars. Anyone who comes here and expects great burgers might be disappointed. Don't get me wrong; the Weber burgers are good burgers, just not great burgers. Sometimes it's not just about the food.

On the same property, you'll find Weber's main food preparation area, a separate hut for Kawartha's Dairy and Yogen Früz, as well as a Roots pop-up clothing booth. There are plenty of dining options available, including two indoor dining halls shaped like railway cars and outdoor picnic tables shaded by large patio umbrellas. Colorful lawn chairs are also provided for relaxing when the sun is shining.

A Summer Tradition!. The family never fails to stop here whenever we head up North.Tasty comfort food (burgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, fries, poutine) with coffee, tea, floats...and a great ice cream or yogen fruz selection for dessert! Can't wait to order my personal creation (a cheeseburger with additional garden patty) and fries with extra gravy. LOL. Réservez une table maintenant

Better then McDonalds or any fast food place, but I don't really see what the big deal is. The burgers lack flavour. The line ups do go fast. Cash only but they do have a ATM on site. Bathrooms are clean. I would go back but it's nothing to get too excited about
