Come here for the outdoor ambience on a balmy summer night. You can easily walk here if staying in Ebersweier or Durbach. Alternatively it would be a nice bike ride stop from any of the other surrounding towns and villages. We only went for a couple of beers and wine, not for eating. A quick glance at the menu however and you can get the usual German Vesper options. Try the maibock beer (may not be the right spelling), it 's served in a stone mug and throw quite a punch. Great place for kids too to run around in the grass or playground provided. The grounds used to be a flour mill and bakery, some of the old buildings have been maintained adding to the feel.
come here for the outdoor ambience on a balmy summer night. they can just walk to the foot if they stay in ebersweier or durbach. it would be a beautiful bike tour from one of the other surrounding cities and villages. we just went for a few beers and weeping, not eating. a short look at the menu and the usual German vasper options. try the Maibock beer (can not be the right writing), it is served in a stone beaker and throw quite a beat. great place for children also running in the grass or playground. the ground was formerly a flour mill and bakery, some of the old buildings were retained to supplement the feeling.
