had diner on the outside terrace, which is a nice place to sit. the tables and chairs are simple, but do the work the menu is not very large and mainly contains German dishes carving late service is friendly and...corrective the prices are low, but the food quality is good, so if they want a “simple” and delicious diner, this is a good place to go.

This is a typical local German restaurant in decor and food. If you want to experience Gemütlichkeit this is the place to go. The food is regional and seasonal and well prepared. The service is very friendly and if you are lucky the hostess will...even play some songs on the piano (Christmas carols when we were visiting).

the menu was based on Odenwald specialties that were immersed with an international touch. the oden forests were particularly delicious. they have their own weinberg and apart from the normal German white, there was even an acceptable red, a blue burgundy: hearty recommended. We had been there for a quick business lunch. Though they had limited vegetarian menu, they quickly made asparagus tasty soup, german bread & french fries for me. My colleagues enjoye local river fish sanders

very nice restaurant is located in the main street in Gross-Umstadt. sitting outside while enjoying a wein, great. also the kitchen very tasty I can recommend the pork medallions with spay, tasty!

Had a great meal here. Would definitely go back next time I'm in Gross umstadt. I had a medium rare steak, which was fantastic!
