This is our opinion of course! We think it was our best meal in Europe! What a gorgeous setting in the flower filled garden! The servers were the very best, always looking after you, helping you with the wine and always followed by the manager who too helped in the service but kept a watchful eye on the operation. The food was incredible and beautiful presented.We put this restaurant in the Michelin Star level! Jamek is not open every day and I believe for lunches only so Book early !!!
Stopped off here for a glass of wine on our way to Melk. Very pretty garden & vineyards in the distance. We were eating elsewhere so can't comment on the food. The wine as I understood is produced here & they only serve their own wine. Tried 2 different types - light wine which was very drinkable & a heavier one also very good. Nice way to spend an hour.
The location is very convenient if you are traveling along the Danube and visiting Melk or any little town such as Dürnstein. The wines both sparkling or plain white are produced in the property and are quite enjoyable. We had lunch and the service was very good. Menu in English!!!Food was also very good, and our table outside (24ºC) was a good choice.
Stopped at Jamek on 7/22/2017 with our family. I decided to have the apricot pancake (dessert) for the main course and the sorbet for dessert. The apricot pancakes are out of this world. We went to Jamek last week for lunch, and it was worth the 1 hour drive from Vienna. The food is perfectly balanced between tradition and innovation, the garden is perfect, the overall setting can not be better, the wine is fabulous and the overall result is happiness. We're leaving.
One of the best restaurants in the Wachau, perfect ambience good and attentive service, very good cuisine with hearty Austrian dishes as well as modern light cuisne with the great wines like Riesling Ried Klaus.
Went there for a lunch with the family and had a really nice experience. Spectacular terrace, fish dishes were really good. Also enjoyed the wine tasting and Marillenknoedel. Réservez une table maintenant
