When Zwingenberger we used to be very often there... Now we rarely come to Zwingenberg, but we wanted to eat the good home cooking from earlier times and were disappointed. Almost everything is just frozen. You can't eat that, I get it in every store... We were really disappointed. It didn’t taste bad, but to offer its guests “Bratkartoffeln” and then to get fried frozen potato slices presented. Also negative: the host was nice to all guests, only not to the staff. We sat close to the kitchen and the tone of handling was anything but respectful. That was really unpleasant to us. The ambience is actually quite cuddly, but the decoration hanging from the ceiling has never been dusted... All in all, therefore, I can only recommend one thing: the beer garden in summer with beer and cooking cheese (tastefully the wine had never much to offer, but that is left to everyone. Good were always mulled wine and spring whites). I like to pay 2€ more for better quality. The food used to be so good... a pity when a shop, which is always full and should afford good quality then, makes cuts in quality but keeps the card.

We were recently invited to the vineyard in February. It wasn't our idea, but we didn't want to spoil our hosts. I can only confirm the last moderate reviews after our visit. The place was well filled, the poorly trained service staff therefore heillos overwhelmed. The mood among the service personnel was quite irritated. In the evening there were only mass goods as convenience food, wants to say more or less prepared food for further processing in the gastronomy. The sauce served for the very fat meat was a bag sauce. The bread actually comes from the nearby net from the bakery. It is bread that is only baked in the prebake process from pasta, frozen in China. Conclusion: At home you eat much better and if necessary. more sustainable and above all know where food comes from.

For many years we have always been happy to go to the Rebenhof. Over the years, both the dishes and the wines have become much better, the prices have naturally also risen. We love the relaxed atmosphere and the fleet and friendly service. Also beautiful: dishes in the season, e.g. Martinsgans in autumn

There is so good food for good wine in a cosy atmosphere. We always like to come to the gardener with our guests

Great wines! Good portion sizes! Ideal for cycling or hiking. But: no beer, limited menu.
