Weinstube St. Sebastian

we were surprised by the crowds that Bernkastel-Kues visited on Friday mid-Deptember. we needed a short lunch snack and saw that most places were full. now, all their outdoor tables were taken, especially with retired couples slow supping glasses, which is this opposite. famous for. That's why we had the pleasure of catching a recently cleaned and sterilized table at the holy sebastian. once we sat by two cheerful young ladies who have done their best to make us feel at home. they accepted our friendly subjects in good spirits that was beautiful. I went for a large glass cooled radler (shandy) and a plate deep fried calamari with garlic sauce/Aloli. I suspect they came from the deep freezing...

Stopped off in this really pretty town on way through to Barden-barden. Town full of tourists so we really struggled to find a space in restaurant, but so glad we got one here. Landlord very helpful as there was no english menu, but he kindly translated it and explained what shnitzel was as we had never had it before. Had one chicken and one pork, both really yummy, but we all voted pork was slightly better. Had glass of local Reisling which was best I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend this restaurant and the town.

during our visit in this city we have eaten here on the terrace. the service is very friendly and helpful. we ordered a carving and it was in order. unfortunately the pommes were very salty. we do not eat very salty and perhaps it is better for people to regulate their salt quantity with the chips themselves by placing a salt glass on the table. if we are back in the opposite, we will definitely eat again here, but pay attention to the salt

I have to agree with the experience of the prior review although we at least got an extra plate from the waitress to share the schnitzel. Initially we were told that we couldn't share the dish. The schnitzel had to be sent back as it wasn't cooked fully. The water was served in the glass and we were surprised that each glass cost Eur 3.50 each. The soup was fine but a very small portion. The waitress was nice. Overall would avoid. Réservez une table maintenant

When you visit a place like Berndkastel kues, a big tourist attraction, where do you go for a meal. Well, this one can be recommended. Good food, friendly and helpful staff, fair pricing. Also look at their specials that are not on the menu mentioned

Nice place. Historical history. Wine excellent. Good selection of flours and coffee specialities. Very friendly service. After a nice walk through the old town, this café invites you to stay. Absolutely recommended.
