Waren mit ein paar Kollegen dort zum Abendessen. Essen so la la. Zwiebelrostbraten ging aber gar nicht. Medium bestellt und komplett durch bekommen, dann noch zäh und kein Gaumenschmaus. Die separat dazu zu bestellenden Spätzle waren bei drei bestellten Portionen deutlich unterschiedlich von der Menge her. Das panierte Schnitzel hatte eine schon fast schwarze Färbung der Panade. Optisch nicht sehr einladend und Fleisch war sehr trocken. Bedienung wirkte sehr ruppig. Tisch war bis zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit reserviert. The tile stove is one of the few typical Swabian restaurants in downtown Stuttgart. There is everything you can imagine in Swabian cuisine. Perhaps one or the other would like it to be something cheaper, generally recommended and also cosy ambience.
I loved everything about this restaurant! Run by a super friendly host who made us feel like home, this restaurant serves excellent local food! Also the location is in the middle of everything and a short walk to key transport.
Located close to main street Koenigstrasse in a nice area of well refurbished old style houses offers typical suebian and German recipes in a well furnished and sympathetic ambience. The personnel is kind and proactive.

First visit and completely enthusiastic! Eat so delicious and have fun at their work. Saßen then still at the beautiful tile stove, which has rounded off the successful visit I give ten out of five stars
