This small restaurant in Bingen is tucked away in a quiet part of the town and could easily be overlooked but thank goodness we found it! It is a traditional restaurant catering for locals, who keep it busy. Great beer and wine, great food and...great company in the form of the local patrons who engaged with us tourists, despite our German language skills being very poor! We spent pleasant nights at this venue and had a great time conversing with locals. We tried hard with our poor German skills and between this and the relatively good English language skills of the patrons, we got by! Mit einer kleinen Gruppe suchten wir ein gemütliches Restaurant und kehrten in die Sonne ein. Es entpuppte sich allerdings als klassische, sicherlich gute Weinstube. Wer hier ein Restaurant vermutet, ist definitiv falsch aufgehoben, denn es gibt zwar für den Hunger zwischendurch verschiedene kalte u. warme Speisen wie diverse Brote oder mal ein Leberkäse mit Spiegelei. Doch von einem Restaurant ist die Sonne weit entfernt. Nach einem Getränk suchten wir weiter. Fazit: Wer eine urige Weinstube sucht , die auch bei Einheimischen beliebt zu sein scheint, der ist hier richtig. Wer ein Restaurant sucht nicht.
