Came here for lunch with a friend on 2/15. Checked out their menu on the website and was intrigued. I didn't see the reviews here until a day before. The two one stars had me a bit concerned. Let me negate those by saying: both our burgers were flavorful and moist. As for the review mentioning the maskless owner: I was unable to see the grill from any vantage point I had during my time there. So, I'd dismiss that review. My friend had the BBQ Burger and remarked how good it tasted. I had the Bacon Blue Burger. It was flavorful and moist enough to soak the bun. It showed that it came with Wells PB sauce. I requested that it be served on the side as that just sounded like an odd addition. Both...
wow, wow! one of the best burgers, pommes and desserts I've ever had and it was reasonably expensive. burger and pommes were perfectly spiced, and the peach bull was heavenly. the atmosphere of the restaurant made them feel like at home and the owner, lee, was very hospitable. he took our job and then came a few times to see how we did it. they use their own bark and make everything in the house, they can say it is made with love. it is rare to get such a good service more so that we were surprised with everything that was on this local location. will definitely come back regularly to try all the different combinations they have!
we ordered today cakes, burgers and pommes by doordash. the burgers and cakes were great. the pommes were so burned that we couldn't eat them. they were so over boiled, possibly fried again a second time, I am shocked a worker would bag them up and send them to a customer. some restraunts serve as standard food when the consumer buys over door dash or similar delivery service. not sure why, unless they try to reduce the production of waste and limit the loss of profit and do not think that someone will notice until it is too late. whatever wells' reason for sending burned pommes was not appreciated and we are very disappointed!
Super nice and brought my burger to me. Burger was really good with a great BBQ sauce, bacon was good and crisp.Had the coconut pie and the meringue was great looking. Pie was wonderful and the peach tea was good. Would’ve like it to already be sweet but know that not everyone likes sweet tea.Nice place out here in Rockwall.
