Wentworth Homemade Ice Cream

I rarely leave reviews but we visited Wentworth's for the first time yesterday as a family with our young son. The person who helped us who was working behind the counter was annoyed that we asked about an allergy (peanut allergy, who I was with is very allergic) and was grumpy and rude around our young son, which is inappropriate. They said that the ice cream scoops are not cleaned in between different flavors and they did not offer an option for a flavor that had not been cross-contaminated with a flavor that had peanuts/peanut butter. Rude. They use common scoops for all of the ice cream flavors, which means all the tubs of ice cream could have nuts in them. That's unfortunate BUT not uncommon no big deal. But why be rude about it? Also, why advertise things like having gluten free ice cream when the same scoops are being used in all tubs (same issue). We got an ice cream for our son, but then I had to go back and get an extra spoon. The same rude person ignored me (but another young lady did step up and apologize). This was 10/13 at about 6:00 pm.

I went here at the recommendation of my youngest who is in school nearby. I had the fabulous chocolate salted caramel oreo (with hot fudge). My youngest had the equally fabulous raspberry chocolate frozen yogurt. All the flavors look amazing and they have recommended sundaes that I'd go for with assistance. Portions are generous here so be aware when ordering. I definitely will go again.

This is a horrible place if you are not white. They will ignore you and ask everyone else for order) except you while waiting for your turn. I love their ice creams but every time I go, I get the same service they will ignore you)???? Also everyoneserving there are all white as well. They need training on how to treat every customer equal. We are not living in 19thcentury???? Réservez une table maintenant

This is cream shop is so cute! I love the huge variety of flavors. I got peach and rum raisin and both were delicious. The ice cream was very creamy. They give generous portions at decent prices. Their outdoor seating is adorable. Only downside to thisplace is there were a ton of bees who came over to my ice cream when I sat on a bench outside by the trees

I would of given them a 5 star but if it wasn't for the flies around place looks very clean reminds me of nostalgic times. The ice cream is very very good . You can taste it's home made, I like the buttercream pecan one! So good. Service was very nice the team felt welcoming. I would deff go back.

Best ice cream ever!! They've got a delicious variety of flavors and they all taste amazing. And any size you get they pack it to the brim ???? affordable and the outdoor seating is so nice!! You won't regret coming here. It's even better than Ashley's.

Tons of different flavors! The chocolate chip cookie dough had nice large chunks that were absolutely delicious! I loved the comfy chairs placed outside and there was plenty of seating inside as well. The service was quick and the team was kind! Réservez une table maintenant

My husband and I stopped on the way home from New Haven and we both had hot fudge sundaes. OMG, they were so yummy!!! ????All of the workers were very personable and efficient.

The ice cream is home-made, but they need more variety. I suggested they make corn ice cream with cinnamon.
