West Chester Diner

We called from the local ice rink because we didn't want to overwhelm a diner on Sunday morning and had to wait an hour. We were told we were coming. When we arrived, we were accompanied to some kind of private space on the back (there were over 25 of us). The waitress informed us that we could not share the controls, all 25 of us sitting at three tables would have to be on a check. She also informed two parents who came in and sat at a table that they could not sit at the table where they had to sit where the other adults were. This place went down the toilet. My family comes here every year because my grandparents are very older and they like it here. They are very simple and simple people. We lost my grandfather to Covid in 2020 and my grandmother likes it because it is close and it is the only place open. The server we have almost every year is so upset that we are here despite my many attempts to be excessively polite. The turkey came cold this year. They charged us 2.25 for hot water. Are you serious? I really hate this place. These people seem to be such a burden we have here and always. I really had enough of this place. My grandmother may not be with us next year and they really make this a terrible experie...

The food here is very good and reasonably priced. Our server, Helen, was quite personable and gave us exceptional service. As you will note from other reviews I have posted I am a big fan of available and clean restroom facilities. My belief is if a company/restaurant/venue is one to offer clean and well-stocked restrooms then they care about the comfort of their guests on all levels. The restroom here was impeccable.

Incredibly delicious food and a very friendly service-oriented staff. But ready to leave with 1,500 extra calories. It's a diner. Be careful with the syrup for your pancakes and waffles. It is corn syrup with maple flavor. Bring the Metformin! There are fantastic healthy options such as Hummus and Pita, Baba Ganoush or even Quesadillas. It's one of our Go-To Squares on Sunday morning.

I ate here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very nice, but the food for me was terrible. I felt pretty bad after that. The place doesn't see the cleanest. However, my two family members enjoyed their meals. I won't come back for me.
