West End Cafe - Réservation de table

I've had a great lunch every time I've visited this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, featuring cozy decor and pleasant music. Our meals were all enjoyable and arrived quickly. It's a perfect place to sit down, eat, and have a good conversation. We got there early, but by the time we left around 12:30, it was quite busy and there was a bit of a wait, so be aware of that. It is a little on the pricey side, but definitely a nice spot to treat a friend to lunch.

First time in the West End Café in downtown Winston-Salem. It?s in a beautiful old neighborhood. It?s much bigger inside than the outside would suggest. It had a full bar, full menu of lunch and dinner items. I just got a basic corn beef on rye sandwich, and I really enjoyed it. The inside is attractively decorated with a lot of hardwood and nice artwork. They had a beautiful Koi pond outside the front door. I?ll have to go back sometime to try out more of their menu.

Place hasn't changed much over the years. Hang around long enough particularly if you're over 50 and you'll see some folks you recognize and a friend or two. Comfortable, cozy ambience. The peaceful coy pond beside the front door sets the tone beautifully. Exquisitely designed for the small space between curb and building, water lilies, huge coy, waterfall, surround of stones and foliage, create a calm respite from the surrounding urban noise. I?ve been going to West End Café for many years. The food is consistently good and fresh. There?s a good selection of sandwiches salads soups and homemade desserts. The staff is always friendly and helpful and many have been there for a long time. The atmosphere is relaxed. There?s a good size bar with a nice selection of drinks, beer, and wine. We just had an incredible dining experience that we haven't enjoyed in a long time! Everything was outstanding and completely worth the wait. If we lived here, we would definitely be regulars! If you go for dinner, make sure to try the rolls. Don't hesitate to sample the specials, and be sure to save some space for dessert!

Gyro was great, Korean chicken was a disappointment of fried chicken smothered in Korean sauce with a hidden spoon amount of rice. Enjoy the dessert of chocolate cake and scoop of ice cream! Bartender during the day and waitress at night; her services is what brought me back for a great time!

This has become our new go-to family restaurant in Winston-Salem! The service is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is impressive. It's very family-friendly, and there's even a koi pond out front that the kids enjoy. They really take great care of their guests!
