Excellent value. I had noticed their good prices when we first went there with Split the Bill and decided to come back. I nearly didn't after reading some of the earlier reviews but we went there anyway to see for ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised that it was every bit as good as it was a year ago. We only wanted the roast, fish chips and schnitzel and the salad veg bar. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that soup was included and the salad bar included melons and grapes that served as a dessert. We were very pleased with everything and we were at a loss to guess what had happened to the earlier reviewers to give them their negative opinions.
Ok food but long wait. I was told the food was good but the service was bad.I decided to give it a go and rang up to book a table of 12 the day before. when we ordered I was asked if we want the food brought out all together or as prepared as we had kids. I said as it was ready could they bring it out. After 1 hour and 10 minutes I asked where our food was and it arrived about 5 to 10 minutes after that. Very poor service considering there was only about 10 to 15 other people there.
the personal was pleasant, but the ambiente des ortes is very economical. no further or shruberei in the very small closed beer garden still inside in the different rooms. the dining room was totally overcrowded with chairs and tables, but no one there. The only place where people were actiw was in the playroom. I was not very impressed and will not come back.
Poor service. Arrived for Sunday lunch just after 1pm, salad bar almost empty only 3 bread rolls left and far from fresh. Only 2 other tables dinning, 1 already had ordered and we still waited over 55min for an average schnitzel and sea food basket both on a bed of barely warm chips. NOT IMPRESSED at all.

could do with something more variety, but the $5 huh or bark cheeseburger are the best worth around. super popular. Unfortunately, they have now added about 80 bright white downlights, so it has the entire ambiente of a dental chair. byo sunglasses.
big shed brewing concern has worked together in the frontbar and it is now a much better place. large selection of craft beers, tasteful pub food and a great atmosphere from the music selection, to the decor, to live entertainment. great staff.
Not as good as it used to be. Lunch today,as one of our locals we thought we would try it again for a quick lunch,average thats all i can say,wont be going back.
This is one of those pubs that you land up at really late at night when you don't really want to go home and everywhere else is either dead, or closed

Reasonable venue. Food is very reasonably priced and there is a salad bar. Only caveat is the pervasive and unpleasant sound of poker machines
