The only downside is that we are relocating to Huntsville just as I've discovered my new favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the honey pecan shrimp and the bacon-wrapped shrimp; they are both must-tries. Even my young child loved her grilled fish from the kids' menu. The deviled egg potato salad and the cheese gouda grits were delicious, not to mention the hushpuppies—I could go on and on about all the great dishes. Thank you for providing me with such a memorable last sit-down meal in Montgomery. I sincerely hope you will consider opening a restaurant in Huntsville, because it was that good!
Such awesome food! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp with honey glaze and it was so delicious! We also had blackened mahi mahi which was amazing. The grits were some of the best we’ve ever had! Huge portions and made fresh to order. A family member has a severe food allergy and they were so accommodating. They prepared everything safe for her and even brought hers out separately with plastic silverware to ensure everything was uncontaminated. I wish I’d taken a picture but we ate the food too fast! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for allergies!
I visited from out of town to celebrate some family birthdays, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I was a bit surprised to find it was a fast casual setting rather than a sit-down dining option. One disappointment was the deviled egg potato salad; it didn’t quite match its description and tasted more like something I'd get from Walmart. Apart from that, the rest of the food was really enjoyable.
We had our corporate meeting of about 20 people. The staff did absolutely amazing with making sure everything was organized. I myself have a ton of food allergies, the staff went above and beyond so I could have something to eat. Everyone said their food was great! Phillip and the rest of the crew delivered fast service, made sure we had refills, and gave the best customer service. Definitely would recommend. Service: Dine in Réservez une table maintenant
We had our first visit, and it did not disappoint! Jessica at the register was outstanding—she was incredibly friendly, funny, and provided excellent recommendations. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Their hush puppies were among the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying the loaded green tomatoes. We'll definitely be back to try some new dishes!
Fantastic dining experience! Our group of 25 from IYT (Improve Your Tomorrow), representing Sacramento and the Bay Area, was on an HBCU Tour.
