When this place first opened, it took a few months of trying before I was able to actually place an order and try their food. Every time I called or tried to order online, they were closed, even during posted business hours. When I was able to order, the food was super delayed and they gave me the wrong sauce. I chalked it up to being a new business and didn't mind too much. Today, my coworker and I ordered chicken meals from them on DoorDash. The money was taken and DoorDash said they were working on the food. When o went to pick it up, the entire place was closed! It was 12:46 pm, and they are supposed to be open at 12. When they actually want to run their business, they have amazing food. I got to try them once over the summer. The tenders and wings were juicy, full of flavor, and seriously spicy. I couldn't really tell the difference between extra hot and what the cluck, but when you consider what passes as Nashville hot in the northeast, they're well ahead of the pack.It's such a shame they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth without explanation and could never get it together when it comes to customer service. When I picked up my order, I found it just sitting on a table while all the employees were chatting away or on their cell phones.
I usually enjoy the high-quality food at What The Cluck, but the experience I had today was extremely disappointing. Despite being listed as open on Google and their Square site, the restaurant was closed when I arrived. A sign on the front door initially stated that they would open an hour late at 1pm, but then they changed it to 3pm after I had placed an online order for 2:15 pickup. When I returned at 3:15, they were still closed, with no update on their social media pages about the delayed opening or closure for the day. It's baffling how a good restaurant can treat their customers with such disregard.
I had written a 5-star review earlier after trying their chicken sandwich for the first time. It is really disappointing to see these places unable to deliver the same quality consistently. The same order this time (chicken sandwich coleslaw) was served warm at best, the stale crumbling bun was not even toasted, and the side of coleslaw was swimming in mayo. The worst part, however, was the soggy bun sitting in a puddle of slaw juice. Please strain your coleslaw before putting it in a sandwich!!

As a first-time customer, I ordered through Grubhub. When I arrived 20 minutes later, my order had not been received, which was disappointing. However, the rest of my experience was excellent. The restaurant quickly prepared my order, the food was cooked well, and the service was great. My only critique is that their hottest sauce was not very spicy, I was hoping for more heat. Despite this, I will definitely be back.
The best spicy chicken I’ve ever had. The tenders are amazing, well cooked, and juicy. The cornbread is out of this world. The mac and cheese is creamy and delicious. The entanglement as a whole is the best option here. It’s no frills service simple, efficient, and all about the food.
For some reason, they gave the food only slightly warm instead of hot; it felt like I was eating leftovers. Even despite that, it was still extremely tasty. If they served the sandwich hot, it would easily be an 11/10 sandwich.
I have been eager to try this restaurant, but it has been closed for the past month! I have heard great things about it, but there have been no updates on whether it will be reopening or what has happened.

The food is good. I really like the hot tender. But I had a bite of the Xtra-hot and I had to wash my mouth by the sink for 5 minutes. And I drank half a giant bottle to kefir. So beware.
This place is incredible! I'm officially hooked. The only thing is, I keep craving it but it seems to always be closed temporarily. Please open back up soon
