This place is one of my go to places in the Durham region. Lots of produce, bread, and frozen foods to choose from.We love Phyllis and her advice, she truly cares for her customers (she's in the clothing section .I usually don't have any complaints about this store as they are typically very pleasant. I recommended this store to a friend (and many other friends! , and she immediately loved their raisin bread and cinnamon bread. We went in to purchase several loaves to feed guests at a church event, but we found it quite condescending the way we were treated. We visited on a weekday morning and it was not busy. The White Feather Store has been around for many years. Tourists and locals love coming here. It sells fresh eggs, has an on site bakery and restaurant. You can buy baked goods, frozen meats, vegetables , fruits and desserts. It has changed with the times and now it does sell frozen prepared foods. They have a wide variety of country wares and fares, which also includes clothes, linens, Knick knacks, signs, candles, souvenirs and much much more. Do not miss their delicious warm freshly baked apple fritters. It can get very busy on weekends, so be prepared.

This is a great little spot to stop when heading north or back home.They have some good made to order lunches.The baked goods here are fantastic. The absolute must when stopping here, the fritters!!! Apple or cherry!!! There is nothing else quite like these.They have a huge selection of frozen food items, as well as sauces, snacks, and beverages.A small playground for kids if they need to burn some energy!!

Great place for items you might not find anywhere else.Baked goods were fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. I'm looking forward to going back for the Holiday specials.

A popular farmer's market. We bough good quality corns and a tasty blue pie. The blue plum was sour.
