I have eaten at this restaurant 3-4 times. I have now had 2 lunches that were appallingly bad. The first was a few weeks ago. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms. They came to the table smelling and tasting like they were spoiled. I should have sent them back, but I did not know my lunch companion very well and did not want to appear too fussy. In retrospect, I should have complained. I tried again 2 weeks ago with another friend. The brie appetizer was incredible. Then came the calamari wrap with supposed tzatziki sauce. This restaurant was recommended to us by the amazing people at Zoe's when we stopped by there for coffee.We walked from our hotel at the other end of Prince George and were delighted to step inside the restaurant.We really can't speak highly enough of this gem.The ambiance was warm, decor comfortable, the service extraordinary and the food .... OMG. Not enough superlatives!We enjoyed the baked Brie as an entre, the duck and black cod as a main course and the creme caramel for desert.All in all, made our overnight stay in Prince George well worth it.
Had an Awesome Dinner at the White Goose this evening, with my son and Husband. our favorite Brie appy! Chicken Cordon Blue amazing each and every time, Salmon delicious he was going to have something different but was wanting Salmon glad he went with his first choice, definitely will have that again, last Prawn and Scallop dinner OMG the topping so delicious, second time I have had it yumm. Dessert Creme Breulle, Custard both sooo good! Our server this evening Meredith was amazing. Will be back soon.
If you love a welcoming atmosphere and delicious filling food this is the place for you, I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal. The head waitress is a joy to talk to and all of the chefs know how to make a superb meal! The white goose bistro is hands down my favourite restaurant! If you like seafood I'd go for the seafood pasta, the chicken cordon blue for chicken or a nice steak with peppercorn sauce if your there for a more meatier meal. Steak and seafood for two is always done to a T!

Went for a birthday dinner and was wowed. Had there prawn and scallops man oh man the flavor was out of this world . For dessert was there chocolate cake that the was topped with a Caramel and pecan sauce oh my mouth is watering just thinking about .... will deffiently go back
Wow the gnocchi with the gorgonzola with balsamic reduction was soooo good. That was just the starter ☺ The rest of the meal was fabulous with the seafood pasta and a wonderful chardonnay to savour with it.
Love this little restaurant. They have a great lunch special of $11 with lots of different dishes to choose from. Staff is friendly, polite and respectful. A definite repeat restaurant to visit.
This is an excellent restaurant to bring your family to. The cook will make anything your kids will eat and the service is always great. We have never been disappointed.

one dish was ok, but the spaghetti carbonara was awful, so salty I almost gagged on it. Don't think I'll be going back.
Had a steak. Cooked to perfection. Peppercorn sauce was amazing. Very good drinks. Ill definitely be going back.
