I was nervous taking my wheelchair bound daughter to play darts here. As an old building it is hard for landlords to make things easy for us. I was delighted, l was helped in every way. I would highly recommend this pub for anyone with diminished mobility. As a town centre pub with disabled parking right out front it was a treat. We will return and try the food soon.
I was visiting my daughter and family from West Wales and we all decided to have a Sunday lunch in here. This was the best lunch in ages with fabulous staff and certainly real value for a proper home cooked roast lunch. I will recommend this public house to all my friends.
Popped into this place a couple of times whilst visiting Banbury for a few days. Lovely, helpful staff. A very warm welcome. Great choice of real ales. What a proper pub should be! Massive credit to the landlord/lady.

Good atmosphere, homemade food with senior offers midweek and friendly service. This was pork and apple casserole.

"Visited for lunch today after a tour of Hook Norton Brewery food was excellent and lovely friendly service. We were celebrating a friends 60th and they kindly decorated a plate with chocolate Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Would highly recommend!"
