This is a place with huge potential but is let down by disjointed service it was a bit like trying to dance with someone who is really uncoordinated. The staff just don't seem to work as a team. Individual staff did try their best but lack of communication appears to be a problem. We arrived a few minutes early so were directed to the bar while our table was being made ready. Nobody told us when it was ready and it was only after half an hour that we asked about it that we were told it had been ready for some time. Even though it wasn't busy it was hard to get the attention of the bar woman. The bar staff didn't know we were eating at the restaurant so asked us twice if we'd like to order ba...
a 5 star top notch experience! Worth every dime! This is my second time dining at White Street and I am always so impressed with the service quality, the quality of the food and the ambiance. They always have really great dishes and appetizers. Appetizers are great for sharing as well. The cocktails are so exceptional great! If you are into mixology this is the place to go to get a very different type of cocktail.
Went to White St. for a second time. Ate early, so fewer diners and lots of attention from wait staff. Seafood appetizers (tuna tartare and seafood tacos) were very good. Scallops and branzino were excellent--spinach was quite nicely done. Pecan pie for dessert was a bit disappointing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely return.
