White Spot - Réservation de table

I really dislike writing negative reviews, and rarely do so, but our experience at the White Spot was very disappointing. We had dropped off my daughter at the airport and were heading to Vancouver, We stopped at the White Spot for a quick breakfast. We were seated outside on the patio. It was 10 minutes before we got a cup of coffee. The menu arrived shortly after. It then took almost another 15 minutes before our order was taken and we got a second cup of coffee. Then we waited and waited and waited. it was at least another 20 minutes before the food arrived. By the time our food arrived I was getting nervous because we had to be in Vancouver by a specific time so I asked to have the bill...

We were lucky to have legitimate reason to enjoy the Pirate Pack, served by Whitespot on the second Wednesday of August, with $2 of each meal going to charity. We sat in the lounge part to avoid the busier restaurant area. Two of us enjoyed tasty beers brewed for Whitespot. The food was okay, although not as good as I remembered in the drive-in in Vancouver 30-odd years ago... The veggie burger was soggy - not cooked enough but the portabello mushroom on top were tasty. My Legendary burger was quite well done - a bit dry. But the server was very friendly and pleasant. The kitchen needs to focus a bit more on burger cooking - veggie burgers a bit more well done, meat burgers not quite so well...

White Spot is not just about the best burgers! We had a great breakfast there including eggs, back bacon and smashed potatoes. Switch it up to any of the traditional extras so make it bacon or sausage or spicy sausage, make is shredded hash browns and choose your toast or pancake option. There are plenty of scrambles and omelettes as well for a reasonable price. I would have preferred rye toast but whole grain and sour dough were available. Friendly, efficient servers, a nice clean restaurant and plenty of choices for everyone.

I called ahead and made reservations for our party of 10, and we were seated immediately. Decent food, nothing special but not bad at all. Apparently the chicken fettuccini my cousins had was excellent, however. That being said, the fellow we had serving us was fantastic. He was pleasant, prompt and very professional. Also gave the toddler in our group an extra chocolate gold coin, which she was thrilled about. All in all, I would come again. Réservez une table maintenant

Went out for lunch with my daughter shortly after arriving at the airport and looking for a place to eat. My daughter chose White Spot because of the good food in our home town of Campbell River. We were not disappointed and enjoyed our calamari and beef dip. Service was wonderful and attentive.

White Spot restaurants are popping up all over (including the BC ferries). These family friendly restaurants offer moderately priced food with a wide spectrum menu. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad, which while not quite a Poke-stack, is headed in the right direction.

The food is reasonably priced and tastes ok, but nothing special. My daughter got a cute pirate ship with her kids meal but her burger was raw. Very unsafe to serve a child raw hamburger.

Great deal for burger endless fries and coleslaw. Coffee is ok rather weak, but the milk shakes are good. Good place for the kids as well. Réservez une table maintenant
