White Village Greek Tavern

We've been going to White Village for years and had a birthday celebration there on 27 June 2020. This restaurant serves authentic and superb Greek food. I haven't tasted a better Saganaki in Melbourne or anywhere for that matter. Oh, and did I mention the...octopus and pan fried calamari? To die for. Kostas, the chef and owner is the best host and White Village is a relaxing, family friendly environment. I love this place.

Went with a group of friends and was looking forward to the meal as I had Greek food and the reviews were good. However, the food waaay was too salty everyone commented on it and quite fat. The seafood plate was especially... when the fish was cold and the Calamari was too salty. The meat plate was a mess and the rissoles way too salty.

We had a group dinner last night at White Village. The restaurant has been in the kitchen for over 35 years. Excellent delicious Greek BBQ food. We chose the $49 a head banquet, the 3 courses from all common Greek... Favourites. We especially loved seafood and meat dishes. Excellent service and its BYO, which is a big plus.

Magnificent event great food wonderful service. The hosts all made the feeling very welcome as a family dinner was fast on the table and are looking forward to return.

Good quality, delicious, authentic Greek cuisine. The service was also excellent! We visited as a family and had the set menu that was a great choice
