We were staying in a self catering cottage in Foyers and first decided to visit for lunch as it was a recommended walk of about 3 miles. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned for dinner at the end of the week. We enjoyed all the dishes we chose soup, salmon pate, burger, fish and chips and the chicken curry. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere in the bar. You will probably need to book in the evening.
We have now been back to the bar at the Whitebridge Hotel on no less than 6 occassions, and the drink and food has been fantastic everytime, and I'm a bit of a fussy eater, but they accomodated us with no issues, and on the last three visits I had a Rib Eye Steak that was tastier than any steak you will find anywhere, they really know how to raise Beef and of course cook it in that location.
I went to Whitebridge Hotel with my husband, elderly mother and 2 kids for Dinner on Christmas Day. Lesley and team were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and very good value for money. The portions were very generous and my 15 year old son described his plate of turkey and trimmings as “a dream come true”! Would highly recommend to others and we hope to return in the future.
We booked a table for dinner the first night of our honeymoon, we were staying at the nearby Wildside lodges. Only a five minute walk up the road to the hotel so very handy. Very friendly staff, great service and amazing food! Couldn’t fault it. We then booked again for our last night and yet again amazing food and service! We will definitely return, highly recommend! We visited here for a meal while staying locally (there is very little in the area so choices are limited) and had a really nice meal for an okay price. The staff were absolutely lovely and the perfect balance of attentive yet not intrusive. There was ample parking, and it’s dog friendly as well.
Amazing food at a great price in a fantastic location with top-notch service. A delightful surprise. It's recommended to book in advance. We tried the Sunday Roast, Nut Roast, and even got some extra beef slices for our dog. And the cheesecake was absolutely delicious - we highly recommend it!
The fare is essentially pub grub and the servings are certainly generous! Service was speedy and friendly even for our large party. The restaurant and bar are wood panelled and cosy though it would have been even better with the log fire lit.
Found this wee gem next to where we were renting for a week. We ate here on 3 evenings with our 3 dogs. Delicious food and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Burger was particularly delicious. Thank you. Réservez une table maintenant
