I ordered my sandwich with fries, and my husband chose beans as his side. As a bit of a fry snob, I must say that their fries were on point. They offered crispy shoestring fries that were made fresh to order and served piping hot! My husband’s beans were tasty as well, with a nice spicy kick.
The dining area had plenty of picnic tables, but they filled up quickly. Once the place got crowded, it became quite noisy—definitely a lively spot for parties! We also grabbed some treats from Providence Bakehouse; I picked an apricot danish, a guava croissant, and a cinnamon roll. So far, we’ve only tasted the apricot danish, and it was fantastic; I can't wait to try the others for dessert later.

Cena Vegan has made its debut in uptown Whittier at the Whittier Brewing Food Hall, nestled within a historic building. With both indoor and outdoor seating, pinball machines, live music, and, of course, their own in-house brews (they also offer wine), you can enjoy some delicious, authentic vegan Mexican cuisine. This location uniquely features “Gigante” items, including a massive burrito that serves 6 to 8 people, an impressive taco tray filled with an abundance of tacos, and a giant nacho platter that truly stands out. Really cool venue and the food looks awesome. The beer line was probably 30 people and no beer is served in the beer garden, just outdoor seating. The one beer I had (Hazy Shade of Whittier) was probably the worst I’ve had in California.

I came when they first opened and the beers were just ok. I returned today with friends and the beers were great. The IPAs were solid and the Lakers were also very well done.i wish I had come back sooner
stopped here while visiting friends/family; awesome location in historic building that was once a bank. Beer was great, Pizza looked delicious, wish we would have stayed longer.

Patio seating is great. Price on beer has gone up a few dollars, but still a good place to go with more food options.
Fun spot in Nixon square. Good variety of food with independent booths. Bands playing in the backlot
